We moved to Denver area last Fall, from North Korea (otherwise known as Michigan). We were lifelong residents of Michigan and never knew how much we were missing; it’s the best decision we’ve ever made. Even if we had moved from someplace nice, I still couldn’t emphasize enough how amazing Denver is. The weather is far better than we expected, which makes the people unusually happy and friendly. The economy is booming, but even if it weren’t the mountains and everything else Colorado has to offer would have been reason enough to move. We were worried about of four kids adjusting to the major move, but they love it too despite leaving many friends behind. They too have already decided they would never consider moving back to Michigan.
